Center Court Commons

A safe, healthy and supportive apartment community where young people who transitioned into adulthood from the foster care system gain experience living independently in a supported environment

Each year a number of youth in foster care in Marion County transition into adulthood with little or no natural or financial supports or a place to live. Center Court Commons seeks to ease their transition by providing a safe environment where they can gain a credit history and have the opportunity to develop skills for living responsibly, safely, and independently.

The Commons provides a safe, healthy place to live and offers needed supports such as mentoring, information and referral, life skills classes, and connections to community resources.

The youth are offered encouragement to complete high school, enter college and find suitable employment.
