Community Receiving Home
A temporary nurturing home for siblings experiencing the trauma of being taken into protective custody, providing DHS time to find an appropriate placement to keep them together
An innovative concept opened by CCS in 2006, the Community Receiving Home for Children helps keep siblings together and gives DHS time to find the right foster care placement the first time. This very successful model is playing an important role in helping Marion County DHS Child Welfare keep more sibling children together.
